Impact of Volcanoes on People and Environment
Introdution
Volcanoes are mountains but with a crater (giant hole). This crater helps in the eruptions of molten liquid and gas (magma) inside the earth. Magma is formed due to high temperature inside the core of the earth. These volcanic eruptions of hot liquid (lava), ash and gas have an impact on people and environment. In short term, volcanic eruptions cause damage to people and environment. However, in the long term there are benefits to people and environment, because lava is rich in minerals.
My research contains facts about volcanoes, including how to make a volcano experiment and types of volcanoes which help in understanding the nature and extent of impact on people and environment. There are two sections, one to describe the impact on people and the second one to describe the impact on environment. I have compared two different types of volcanic eruptions, Mauna Loa in Hawaii and Mount Vesuvius in Italy. Both of them have different impact on people and environment.
In conclusion, I have described some preventive measures that should help in people and environment protection. I have also explained how volcanoes can have a positive effect on people and the environment.
